When I graduated high school (40 years ago) I weighed 125 and had a 28 inch waist. At my heaviest I was about 230, with a 44+ inch waist. This morning I weighed in at 166 and my waist is down to 34 inches, I'm getting close to my goals of 15% body fat (currently 18%), a 32 inch waist and to be stronger, healthier and happier (actually, I am lifting heavier than I ever have). 24/7 has done a lot in helping me to get fit. April Reis asked me to name my favorite instructer, I can't because I love 'em all, and they have helped me so much over the last year and a half.

Cecilia wanted me to write a BLOG piece so here goes:
Since starting this years "New Year,New You" contest,I have lost 21 pounds (by my scale). Last week at the end of Step Class I got really dizzy, then again later that day dizzy again. I took my blood pressure and it was low for me...98/65 & the next morning it was 92/60. That's when I stopped taking my BP meds (yeah I know I should consult my doc). I've monitored my BP everyday since (at least 3 times a day) and without meds and systolic ranges 110 to 117 with diastolic ranging from 69 to 78. I've been on BP meds off & on for over 15 years and it never occured to me my hypertension might be weight related. It has been at least 19 years since I've weighed under 180.
Well I guess that's it...
