Prepare to be Challenged!

24/7 Health Club is making plans to host their 5th Annual New Year’s Challenge.  The  New Year ~ New You Weight Loss Challenge provides  members with an opportunity to team up with other like-minded people who desire to lose weight and helps participants to accomplish goals while cheering each other on and having fun. 

Following our tested and “member approved” format, the program will include instruction in both strength training and cardiovascular workouts, which are an essential element in reshaping ones body in a healthy manner.  Every one’s favorite – the Team Relays – will be an integral part of the program again.  Hurray!  

Our members will be excited to hear that this year, “Yes, we will offer a limited menu plan to help you with your food choices.”  The Thin & Healthy TOTAL SOLUTIONS healthy foods education will be incorporated into the program on a limited capacity so that members can learn how to eat to achieve permanent results. 

During the eight-week challenge, members will receive points for attending required classes, optional classes, cardio workouts, food journaling and much more.  Members will not be graded on actual “pounds” lost.  Instead, participants will receive points based on the reduction of body fat (body fat %) – which helps to ensure that members lose weight in a healthy manner and will help participants to maintain results after the challenge has concluded.

Traditionally, we begin the program in early January.  However, we always have a large number of new members who miss out because they do not join the club in time to participate.  To ensure as many people as possible have the opportunity to participate, we will hold the Kick Off the last week of January (date to be announced).  

If you plan to participate in the challenge (or if you are ”thinking” about participating in the contest), take a moment to REGISTER NOW.   This will help us to more accurately plan our program and to schedule the required classes.
